ABE SAID WHERE’D’YA WANT THIS KILLING DONE?

GOD SAID DOWN ON HIGHWAY SIXTY-WHU-HUNN.
On this page I attempt to enter the world of music; just me, myself and my guitar, aided by a few electrical goodies including a wah wah peddle, a distortion peddle, and my favourite, a digital delay. My main thing is improvising. I play most of my music on a steel strung Tanglewood six string guitar, sometimes with an electric pickup. I play my other guitar when everyone is at work during the day, as most people get a little aggravated like around two in the morning when the walls start to shake, etc. My electric is a Tanglewood Tomkat and is my pride and joy when I get the chance to play it. My amp is a small Watson and I record using a basic microphone. I do a bit of editing on my computer. Nothing too special, just cutting and pasting kind of thing. I’m not very good at playing in public as I suffer excessively  from stage fright and everything comes out tense and awkwardly. My guitar playing is strictly personal amongst friends, but I don’t mind people hearing the terrible noise I make online, so on this page there are three of my creations downloadable as MP3s. There may be more in the future. Listen if you can! Oh, and by the way, I don’t sing. I haven’t mastered that yet but am working on it.
†Song #1. “One More Silver Coffee for the Machine”. Influenced by Bob Dylan, Hawkwind, and Rush. A collection of rifts that I feel slot together as a several part song. All played by me using electric guitar and mixed by myself on my computer. A bit scratchy in places and definitely not my favourite. Think of it what you will! This mp3 file is 2.82mb and playing time roughly 4 minutes.

†Song #2. “DamJamRamAlone”. A very relaxing number that is about 19 minutes 43 seconds long and a 18mb mp3 file. An extremely long piece of accoustic guitar, made to sound like twelve string in some places, using my computer. My advice; just let this number trickle away in the background.

†Song #3. “One day”. A favourite of mine and of Pink Floyd influence, played on steel strung accoustic. This mp3 is 3.51mb and 2 minutes 33 seconds long. I play variations of this piece quite a lot whilst filling in the gaps life gives us.
